This camera is capable of satisfying users both in terms of digital still photography and video recording, and offers unique advantages of being a “hybrid” camera. Toronto, Canada August 26, 2011 – JVC (JVC Kenwood Corporation) now announces that, from the end of 2011, an update program for the “Everio MediaBrowser™ 3D”*1 editing and data management software bundled with the GS-TD1 will be made available. With this update, users will be able to create a Blu-ray disc from video files recorded in the MP4 (MVC) mode which offers high-precision 1920x1080 Full HD 3D recording. Created Blu-ray discs can be played back on 3D-compatible BD recorders that support “AVCHD Ver. 2.0”*2.
