Established in 1975, JVC Canada Inc. has recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary in Canada.
With its business expansion and market share growth, JVC Canada has grown into a world-class company. Along with JVC's business growth, came physical growth with renovation and expansion of it's Head Office building in 1999. Located in Scarborough, Ontario, JVC Canada's Head Office includes Sales (Consumer and Industrial), Marketing, Order Management, Finance, Administration, Information Technology, Customer Service, Parts Sales and Logistics Divisions. JVC Canada also has Regional offices in Montreal and Vancouver, which include warehouse facilities as well as sales offices in Quebec, Calgary, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ottawa and Edmonton.
Consumer Division
JVC brings to market a complete range of Home Entertainment products in the Consumer Products Division in the following categories: Digital Video Camcorders, VHS & S-VHS Camcorders, Digital Still Cameras, Super VHS VCRs, VHS VCRs, Color Televisions, Projection TVs, Flat Screen TVs, Home Audio Components/Systems, Personal Audio systems, Mobile Audio and Tape Accessories
Industrial Division
JVC's Industrial division distributes a wide line of D-9, Professional DV and Professional S broadcast and industrial production equipment including Cameras, VTRs, duplication and editing equipment in both SDTV and HDTV formats. JVC has a strong presence in the presentation market with the industry standard D-ILA projectors, visual presenters, professional monitors and MP3 audio guidance systems. As the industry leader in the computer market, JVC offers high capacity CD/DVD based library changers, Ethernet/Internet based cameras and 10 Mbps infrared wireless LAN products. The CCTV product category is one of the fastest growing segments of JVC's product line.
During its 25 years, JVC Canada has proudly sponsored several sporting events and entertainment functions. JVC sponsors the Canadian National Soccer Team and both men's and women's Curling teams. The men's Team JVC accomplished a Silver Medal in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. For the last 7 years, JVC has also supported the Toronto JVC Jazz Festival, providing entertainment for millions of families over the years.
