Road To The OLYMPICS
The Kelley Law Team was formed in 1999, with each individual sharing a dream...
the dream to represent Canada at the Olympic Winter Games.
In their first season together, they won the Canadian Women's Championship and
the Scott Tournament of Hearts. They also went on to capture the World
Women's Championship, bringing the gold medal back to Canada. The team was also
selected "2000 Team of The Year" at The Canadian Sports Awards.
After winning the World Championship, Kelley, Julie, Georgina, Diane and Cheryl worked hard and played hard as their ultimate goal was in sight -- the Olympic Games. On December 9th 2001, they triumphed by winning the Canadian Curling Trials in Regina and with that, Canada's berth in the Olympics.
From February 8 to 24, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Team Law will Go For Gold.
